“Happy Birthday! Start your day off with a little bubbly and a poached egg with sautéed spinach and a beurre blanc sauce. Then move to mid morning snack of fresh sliced apples, pears, and a bit of semi-soft cheese and a nice Rose. Follow that by a nice lunch of grilled portobello mushroom buckwheat risotto and a glass of Pinot. This afternoon treat yourself to a yummy chocolaty cupcake with a deep glass of Port. Dinner, well you get the idea… Whatever you do today, make sure you do it with your family, friends and loved ones. Laugh a lot, work a little , know you are loved! Have a great day and indulge!”
I can’t wait to follow Suzy’s recipe for a WINEderful birthday next year. I wish I could do it this year, but I already had plans.
