I’m thrilled to introduce my new wine website, Betty’s Wine Musings.
This site is a tribute to everything we love about wine, from sipping it to learning about it to gifting it to earning a living from it.
The sub-tagline on my site, “Whine Less and Wine More,” honors wine’s special place in our lives.
The tagline on my website, “Bringing the Wine Country to You, One Sip at a Time,” highlights my interest in learning about wine and sharing what I learn in a fun, unintimidating way.
I am a firm believer in celebrating each person for where they are on their wine journey. Whether you are a wine veteran or just getting started, there’s always something more to explore about the wonderful world of wine! I hope that my website becomes an enjoyable place of exploration for you.
What You’ll Find on Betty’s Wine Musings
- My blog. This is my opportunity to explore different elements of the wine world and share what I’ve learned. My two most recent articles are on Godello, a little known white wine from Spain and the Zinfandel/Primitivo controversy.
- Hosting a wine tasting. If you’d like to host a wine tasting, you can read all about it here.
- Becoming a Wine Consultant. I describe being a wine consultant as “the wine job to end all wine jobs.” It’s fun beyond belief and can be very lucrative. If you’re interested in this opportunity, please check out this page.
- Italian Wine. Many wine enthusiasts love Italian wine but complain about its complexity. I have to admit that I’m one of those people. So I did some research to help me overcome my Italian wine anxiety. My research turned into a bunch of blog articles, which are featured on this page. A word of warning: I’m an enthusiast who has done some research; I’m not an expert 🙂
